About
Daniel Matranga
Founder, Lumen Labs

Daniel has nearly two decades building data and mapping systems, from designing digital products for Bayer to running data infrastructure at a private equity firm valuing hundreds of deals.

Again and again he watched talented people make critical decisions on incomplete data. Lumen Labs exists to give growing businesses the same data clarity the big institutions have, without the overhead.

He holds a BS from UT Austin and an MBA from Rice, and lives in Austin with his two kids.

How long does a typical project take?
Most engagements deliver a working result in 4–8 weeks. We get something real in front of you quickly rather than spending months planning. Larger builds are broken into phases with clear deliverables at each stage.
Do we need an in-house data team to work with you?
No. Most clients come to us precisely because they don't have a data or engineering team. We own the build end-to-end and work directly with business stakeholders, not just technical staff.
